Despite its name suggesting a pneumatic tube, this device is actually a 1×2 PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) splitter with a 10:90 split ratio—meaning it divides an incoming optical signal into two outputs: 10% (–10 dB tap) and 90% (–0.5 dB through). This asymmetric splitting is ideal for applications requiring optical monitoring, signal tapping, or power balancing without disrupting the main data path.
Housed in a compact, rugged 900µm loose tube or stainless steel micro-module, the Zibbix 10/90 splitter ensures durability and ease of integration into patch panels, splice closures, or inline monitoring setups. It operates across the full 1260–1650 nm wavelength range, supporting GPON, EPON, CATV, and RF overlay systems.
