The Zibbix 20/80 Optical Fiber PLC Tube Splitter is a specialized asymmetric passive component designed for advanced fiber optic networks requiring precise optical power division. Unlike standard 50:50 splitters, this device splits an incoming signal into two outputs with a 20% (–7 dB) tap and 80% (–1 dB) through ratio, making it ideal for applications such as real-time network monitoring, optical power sampling, fault detection, and signal diagnostics—all without interrupting the main data path.

Housed in a compact 900µm loose tube or mini stainless steel tube (typically ~4.0–4.6mm diameter and 60mm length), the splitter integrates seamlessly into tight spaces within splice closures, distribution boxes, or inline monitoring setups. It leverages Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) technology to ensure high accuracy, low insertion loss, excellent return loss (>55 dB with APC), and minimal polarization-dependent loss (PDL) across the full 1260–1650 nm wavelength range, supporting GPON, EPON, XG-PON, CATV, and RF video signals.
