At its heart, this analyzer features a four‑digit hexadecimal display built on a dual dot-matrix layout. The first two digits represent the current POST code being executed, while the last two digits show the previously displayed code. There’s also a built-in speaker that produces different sound codes, offering an audible way to recognize common faults if visual monitoring is difficult.
Power integrity is also verified: the card includes LED indicators for various voltage rails (+5V, +12V, +3.3V, and –12V). If any of these supply voltages drop out or fail, the corresponding LED remains off — giving you a quick, visual hint that the power supply may be the root cause of your issue.
A handy feature lets you recall previously displayed POST codes with the press of a button, so you don’t miss transient errors that appear only briefly. The card can also be read from both sides — the component side and the solder side — thanks to its dual POST display, making it easy to read no matter how it’s installed or where you have access.
